Yes House Things offer FREE DELIVERY on all items to most of Australia.

Shipping is free to all of Australia except on Large Bulky items which may attract an additional shipping fee to Regional areas. For smaller items such as Bar Stools, Dining Chairs & Rugs we offer Free shipping Australia Wide.

Most orders are shipped from one of our distribution centres the next working day after your order has been placed. 

Certain Rug orders can take a few days longer to dispatch.
During busy periods that dispatch may take up to 10 days from certain products. If you would like a more specific dispatch time for a product, please email us at and we will get back to you with an estimated dispatch time. 

Orders are dispatched from our warehouses which are located in Melbourne and Sydney.

House Things works with multiple couriers to provide the most efficient delivery service. The main couriers we use are Toll, Aramex, Hunter Express, Australia Post and Allied Express. 

Once your order has been processed, you will be sent a tracking number with a link to track your order. This will typically be emailed to you the day after placing your order.


Most of our products are shipped from our warehouse the next working day following your order.

*Certain products particularly Rugs may take longer up to 10 days. However most other products will be on the road to you within a day or 2.

Delivery time will depend on your location and our couriers. In general, most orders are delivered in a few days, however in some cases your delivery can take a bit longer. 

You will be emailed your tracking number as soon as we receive it from the courier. You can check this on the couriers website. 
If you have any issues with your delivery, you can contact the courier directly or please contact us and we will follow it up for you. 



If you don't like it, you can return it!

For any items you return for any reason, you will be given a full refund less our shipping costs. 

We offer a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee on most of our products.
So if you decide a House Things product isn’t for you, you can send it back to us for a refund. 

If you would like a refund after receiving your product (excluding shipping costs), and it is still within its original condition and packaging, please email us at within 30 days of the product being delivered to you.

Your Reason for return;
Date of purchase
Your contact details;
Your order number
We will respond to your refund request with the details on how to return yoru items.

Following our approval of your refund request, we will require you to arrange return shipment of the product to us. We will provide you with the appropriate address (depending upon your product), within five (5) business days. We recommend using a registered post service so you can track the return delivery as we take no responsibility for any return that is lost in transit.

Please take care to repack the product as it was originally delivered to you.
The products must be returned in brand new condition in the original packaging or similar packaging.

Failure to repack correctly may result in damage during the return transit and forfeit your refund.

Once we have confirmed receipt of the product and it has been inspected it to ensure it is in its original condition including all its original packaging and fillers, we will contact you to arrange a full refund.

This refund will exclude any shipping costs that may have been incurred.
